Paramount Home Health Care is currently seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide high-quality home health therapy services to patients in New Port Richey, Florida, and surrounding communities.
This is an excellent opportunity for a PTA who enjoys working one-on-one with patients, values flexibility, and wants to make a meaningful impact in the comfort of patients' homes.
Position Details
- 📍 Location: New Port Richey, FL
- 💲 Pay: $50 per patient visit
- 🕒 Flexible schedule
- 📋 Per-visit position with the opportunity to grow
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Assist patients in improving mobility, strength, balance, and independence.
- Educate patients and caregivers on prescribed exercises and safety techniques.
- Accurately document patient visits and progress.
- Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary care team.
- Follow all physician orders and Medicare/home health regulations.
Qualifications
- Current Florida Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License
- CPR Certification
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Home health experience is preferred but not required
- Compassionate, professional, and patient-centered attitude
